Camano Hotbed for Drugs

Camano's new Public Housing and Shops development, which was built by the philanthropist Mr. Blank, has come under scrutiny as citizens are growing and selling drugs illegally.

Washington has a lax stance when it comes to marijuana laws, legalizing personal recreational cannabis. But the manufacture with the intent to sell without a business license is against State Law.
Mr. Blank released a statement stating "With the absence of police in the State of Washington, this is not surprising in the least. There is money to be made."

Area still peaceful?
Although there have been reports of small vandalism, the area has really developed as a community. A source that remains anonymous says "we are willing to act within the law, but there has to be law enforcers for that to happen".
