Building in Tacoma being reclaimed after abandoned for two weeks
Washington is enforcing it's State Ordinance regarding abandoned structures this week. Citizens who left the state 14 days ago without returning will lose all structures and possessions left behind. People who may return this week will likely find an empty field on their property. Any vehicles left behind will become the property of the state.
"This Ordinance was enacted to prevent the over growth of unwanted structures and to give inbound citizens an equal opportunity for prime land" A Federal Official told Seattle News in a phone interview.
Preexisting buildings and Blank Industries structures are Grandfathered into the ordinance. Mr. Blank has not been in the State of Washington for about a week and there is not plan to take eminent domain if he does not return within the 14 day period.
